These Cernunnos prayer beads are made with 8mm genuine crystal beads and silver-toned metal spacer beads on stainless steel wire, with a metal charm representing Cernunnos at each end. This set measures 20 inches in length.
★ ABOUT CERNUNNOS★
Cernunnos is a mysterious Horned God of the Celtic mythology. Many of his stories have been lost to history and time, as very little was written about Cernunnos during ancient times.
Cernunnos is a god of nature, beasts, forests, trees, and wild places, and is commonly depicted as a bearded man with antlers. Scholars believe that Cernunnos was viewed as a protector, and symbolized fertility and the life/death cycle.
The name “Cernunnos” is used by some scholars and pagans as a catch-all for multiple horned deities. Cernunnos is also sometimes referred to as Lord of the Wilds, the God of Wild Places, the Horned One, or simply the Horned God.
Cernunnos is an important and beloved figure in many pagan belief systems, including some sects of Wicca and Druidry.
