Midsummer, also known as Litha, is a pagan festival celebrated on the Summer Solstice (around June 20 – 22 in the Northern Hemisphere and December 20 – 22 in the Southern Hemisphere). It is the longest day and shortest night of the entire year.
Summer Solstice celebrations traditionally center around themes such as vitality, abundance, prosperity, joy, fertility, and empowerment.
The energy of Midsummer is gleeful, celebratory, and high-spirited. Much like at Yule (the Winter Solstice), this is a time to eat, drink, and be merry!
Celebrate Midsummer / Litha with this Midsummer Ritual Workbook, containing a fully scripted, step-by-step Summer Solstice Prosperity Ritual.
This ritual is inspired by the lore and symbolism of Midsummer, and is designed to help you harness the power of the Midsummer Sun to charge up your intention and invite more abundance and vitality into your life.
