As someone who considers herself to be an “intermediate” practitioner of magic, I am grateful for books like this one: The Witch’s Path by Thorn Mooney.
If you are a beginner and looking for a “witchcraft 101” book, this isn’t it…and that’s actually what I appreciate about it. It offers something different from most witchcraft books on the shelves! But that’s not to say this book isn’t good for beginners as well.
While you won’t find a 101 guide to working with deities, you will find exercises that prompt you to reflect on why you want to work with deities in the first place, and that will help you deepen your existing devotional practices.
Nor will you find a list of spells or must-have magical tools, but you will find tips and exercises to help you make your magic even more powerful and effective.
Regardless of the tradition you follow or how many years you have been practicing, this book invites you to stop, reflect, reevaluate, and infuse more intention and meaning into your craft.
