The Witch at The Forest’s Edge by Christine Grace (@awitchbetwixt on Instagram) is a work of pure enchantment. Reading it felt like an initiation into a deeper level of my own magical practice.
Each idea presented in this book is supported by the structure of an animist worldview, reminding the reader that everything has a spirit and everything is connected.
In particular, I deeply appreciated the emphasis on practices such as hedgeriding (or trance journeying)—an integral part of my own practice that I rarely see represented in modern witchcraft books.
And the suggested reflections and exercises are among the best I’ve encountered in any published work about magic or witchcraft. So many dog-eared pages and notes scribbled in the margins of my copy!
10/10 loved The Witch at The Forest’s Edge and highly recommend it.
